      <image:caption>When jobs are posted to the Hiring Hub site by SMEs and HR managers, they generate fees for recruitment agencies, which in turn creates revenue for Hiring Hub. Hiring Hub had scaled the ‘supply’ side of their marketplace by filling it with a sufficient number of recruitment agencies. They now needed to increase ‘demand’ by ensuring that enough SMEs and HR managers were using the platform.  Hiring Hub had already invested in a range of marketing tactics, none of which had achieved the results they were seeking. The business needed a full strategic review in order to identify a scalable and repeatable approach to marketing.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Through discovery meetings with founder Jon Woodall, it became apparent that to reach the next level, Space 48 needed to evolve its brand focus away from being primarily a Magento design-and-build agency.  The outcome of these meetings was the understanding that Space 48 needed to better communicate the value it brings to its customers. (The short version: Space 48 helps online retailers sell more by creating a truly seamless commerce experience for their customers.) So, working together and with other stakeholders in the business, we developed an improved value proposition that more accurately reflects Space 48’s offer.  From there, a new brand was formulated, along with a new marketing strategy that focused on how the average Space 48 client experiences the agency – from initial interactions through to onboarding and account management. This strategy was supported by a series of high-quality events, from intimate round-table dinners to large-scale functions hosted at the Space 48 offices.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Over two years, I worked closely with Tampopo’s founder David Fox, and their designer, developer, and other stakeholders to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. This strategy aimed to integrate activities across all five venues with their online presence, ensuring a unified approach to website content, email campaigns, social media, and in-venue operations. My approach was data-driven. By continuously monitoring results, strategy adjustments were based on real performance metrics, avoiding guesswork. Key to the strategy was an in-depth review of Tampopo’s website usage, SEO enhancement, a revamped email strategy, and social media initiatives, with resulting changes focused on improving user experience and engagement.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Mary-Ellen Tague invited me to become a member of the Eat Well MCR board, and to take charge of the collective’s marketing strategy. Our first major fundraising push consisted of a live-streamed online auction. Supported and cross-promoted by local celebrities, it raised £75,000, allowing to us to bolster our foundations and widen our ambitions.  Eat Well MCR was formalised as a community-interest company. In order to make it self-sustaining, we devised Eat Well MCR Marketplace, an online store for people passionate about quality food from independent traders and suppliers.   This model allows us to work directly with local restaurants, farmers and producers, supporting these businesses while creating a revenue stream to plough straight back into Eat Well MCR.</image:caption>
